    This Statement of Work covers the need for the services of a college student(s) to provide technical and/or analytical support in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineer or Computer Engineering for the Naval Command and Intelligence (C&I) project. The purpose of this task is to provide support in the areas of knowledge management and the full software lifecycle to the Department of Defense (DOD).


    Background: The C&I IPT is responsible providing full life cycle software and engineering support to a variety of customers


    The contractor shall provide support to the C&I IPT in the areas of knowledge management, full software development lifecycle as described below:


    • Assist in the investigation, analysis, and evaluation of technology to include, open source software, vendor products, academia and industry research, and Government software and systems.
    • Installing and integrating software applications and hardware Resolving workstation hardware and software challenges.
    • Perform software cycle support to include requirements, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and
    • Produce reports on industry trends to include software and systems methodologies, security systems, and future
    • Manage subject matter expertise and processes using industry standard content management



    Minimum Qualifications:


    Undergraduate Student 2: Must have course work in the discipline requested on the task order Statement of Work. The student must be at the Junior or Senior level and have experience in 50% of the task requirements and be able to accomplish 50% of the work independently.




    Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering


    • Proficient with a business productivity suite e.g. MS
    • Basic working knowledge of a software development
    • Working knowledge of computer
    • Working knowledge of the Windows (i.e. Win 10, Win 7) and or Unix Operating


    Required Course Work:

    • Introduction to Computer Programing or Computer Engineering or Principles of Information Systems (or an equivalent course).


    Desired Qualifications:

    • Basic working knowledge of computer and networking protocols and communications theory and
    • Working knowledge of web
    • Basic working knowledge of document repositories to include Atlassian
    • Basic working knowledge of task management systems to include Atlassian
    • Basic working knowledge of server client hardware and operating systems
    • Ability to develop comparison decision analysis documentation based on vendor related hardware and
    • Working knowledge of at least one programming language and demonstrates the ability to develop and compile source




    This position will require the employee to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

    Due to the regulations established by the Department of Defense, only US Citizens may qualify
    This is a student position and is limited to working 20 hours per week
