This Statement of Work covers the need for the services of a college student to provide technical and/or analytical support in the field of electrical / Radio Frequency (RF) engineering for the Submarine Mast Broadband Antenna (SuMBA) project. The purpose of this project is to develop a first year prototype of a cryogenically-cooled broadband antenna system that satisfies requirements defined by the end-user in the design reference mission.
Undergraduate Level 3: Electrical Engineering Major (Senior).
Required Course Work:
Engineering Computation, Digital Design, Basic Computer Engineering, Analog Design, Circuits, Systems and Components, Linear Electronic Systems, Linear Systems Fundamentals, Active Circuit Design, Probability and Statistics, Probability and Random Processes for Engineers, Calculus, Differential Equations, Physics.
Additional Qualifications desired: Skills:
Prior RF internship work using RF test equipment, CST Microwave Studio, Matlab and OrbitFR Chamber Software.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Visio, Power Point.
This position will require the employee to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
Due to the regulations established by the Department of Defense, only US Citizens may qualify
This is a student position and is limited to working 20 hours per week
