    This Statement of Work covers the need for the services of a college student to provide analytical and technical support in the field of computer engineering, mathematics, physics, statistics, and computer science to produce and implement capabilities for the CMV-22 (tilt-rotor aircraft) Comprehensive Automated Maintenance Environment-Optimized / Readiness Integration Center (CAMEO/RIC) project.  The purpose of this task is to perform data analytics and engineering in support of air and sea platforms in the Advanced Data Analytics and Engineering Branch.


    The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Pacific’s mission is to conduct research, development, test, evaluation, operation, sustainment, maintenance, and implementation using technologies that contribute to improving the responsiveness, capability, readiness, reliability, and survivability of Department of Defense’s (DoD) systems.


    • Investigating, analyzing, and reviewing data analytics tools and technology to include, open source software, vendor products, academia and industry research studies, and Government software and systems.
    • Performing data conditioning principles and techniques for performance and system utilization efficiencies associated with big data infrastructure.
    • Performing in-depth analysis using machine learning, statistical models, and algorithms for the purpose of extracting high value meaning and interpretation of complex data sets.
    • Performing data visualization techniques in support of analysis to highlight data importance, relative importance, as well as changes and trends to the data.
    • The contractor shall assist with technical white papers, source code, and algorithms for the CMV-22 CAMEO/RIC project.


    Minimum Qualifications:


    Undergraduate Level 2: Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, and Computer Engineer majors (Junior or Senior).
