The hourly rate for this position is $22.84 per hour and is non-negotiable.
This Statement of Work encompasses the need for student services to provide technical support towards the production qualification, integration, and fielding preparations for the Battle Force Tactical Network (BFTN) Resilient Command, Control, and Communications (RC3) System Enhancement (BRSE) program of record. BRSE entails modern High Frequency (HF) radios, modems, network controllers, and network management systems. Tasks will focus on production baseline verification, pre-deployment integration testing with connected systems, containerized software pipeline qualification, and deployment configuration to support low-data-rate operational fielding requirements. These tasks will be conducted at NIWC PAC in San Diego, CA.
BFTN is an HF and Ultra High Frequency (UHF) communications system providing ship-to-ship line-of-sight (LOS) and beyond LOS (BLOS) networking and relay to shore in the event of partial loss of satellite communications (SATCOM). BRSE is the follow-on productions system enhancement providing modernized HF capabilities across the fleet.

Graduate Student 1: Must have a Bachelor's degree in the required discipline and be enrolled in a Master's degree program. Must be able to accomplish a minimum of 50% of the task without supervision.
