Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI), the Clinical Research Program Manager will provide administrative leadership and community engagement through a wide variety of responsibilities:
Principal Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit all payment requests (Emburse and MyRF) and hiring documentation (iCims and EPAS) for all financial and personnel actions through the SDSU Research Foundation (SDSURF). Submissions and approvals should happen in a timely manner to meet all deadlines and vendor/subaward agreement payment terms. Training will be provided.
- Administer and renew vendor contracts while maintaining accuracy and adherence to SDSURF policies and Federal Guidelines. Sponsored Research Administration (SRA) and Purchasing must be part of all contract/agreement negotiations. Training will be provided.
- Respond promptly to all emails and other requests for information from the SRA Grant Specialist and work in coordination with the Grant Specialist to ensure adherence to SDSURF policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and act as a liaison with community health clinics (subawardees) with a focus on building a progression in the continuum of substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and addressing specific needs of vulnerable populations.
- Manage program budget and recommend or make budgetary and resource allocations. Provide financial status reports as requested by PI.
- Provide clear and timely responses to inquiries regarding vendor and subaward agreement terms and payment processes.
- Develop administrative and programmatic policies and processes for the RESTORE Program to ensure effective, efficient, and secure use of data.
- Assist in writing Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications, publications, Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), and presentations.
