Overview

The hourly rate for this position is $18.90 and is non-negotiable. 

 

RESTORE aims to research and develop a range of technical solutions through the use of software engineering, database development, cloud-based application development, and modern technological tools. This development is critical to the DoD’s mission, as it will support software development, reducing time, cost, and errors for the warfighter.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

Duties to include the following:

  • Assist with Software Engineering, Programming
  • Assist with design, development of platform agnostic unity tools for visualization in Mixed Reality.
  • Assist with design, development of cloud-based unity building processes.
  • Assist with design, development of QQCOMP package internet transport.
  • Assist with design, development of QQCOMP integration into QIF.

Qualifications

Undergraduate Student 3: Must have course work in the discipline requested on the task order Statement of Work. The student must be at the Senior level and have experience in 100% of the task requirements and be able to accomplish 90% of the work independently.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Area of Study: Computer Science and/or Computer Engineering major preferred; relevant majors such as Data Science and Software Engineering be suitable given relevant coursework and/or work experience. (Undergraduate Student).

 

Required Course Work

  • CS 370 Computer Architecture.
  • CS 460 Algorithms (Formerly CS 560).
  • CS 210 Data Structures.
  • CS 583 - 3D Game Programming

 

Desired Qualifications

  • CS 545 Introduction to Web Application Development.
  • CS 576 - Computer Networks and Distributed Systems.
  • CS 574 - Computer Security.
  • CS 559- Computer Vision.
  • Unity, C#, XML, JavaScript or web-development or software programming, Cloud Computing experience.
  • Experience with GIT and version control.
  • Ability to read and implement technical documents or test standards.
  • Comfortable with working independently and in group settings.
  • Flexible with learning new programming languages based on project’s needs.
  • Experience with cloud computing/architecture (AWS, Azure).
  • Ability to read and implement technical documents or test standards.
  • Independent/self-starter who can operate under minimal oversight.
