This position has been budgeted for $75.00 per hour and is non-negotiable.

Founded in 1963, the SDSU School of Social Work was the first school of social work in what is now the 23 campus California State University System. The School of Social Work emerged in response to a need for more professionally educated social workers for the public welfare sector of the state of California.

This is a part-time position providing supervisory hours to Associate Clinical Social Workers (ASW). This position reports to the Student Success Specialist.

The LCSW Clinical Supervisors duties include:

 Primary Reponsibilities 95%

• Ability to provide up to 10 hours of individual/triadic/group supervision through an in person or virtual format each week 
• Availability outside of regularly scheduled supervision time as needed to address logistical questions and/or  high risk issues such as mandated reporting requirements, crisis situations, etc. with ASW supervisees
• Commitment of availability to provide clinical supervision for the duration of an ASW’s licensing process 
• Review and complete the Supervision Agreement, including the Supervisory Plan, with ASW supervisee(s)
• Sign off on ASW Weekly Supervision Log of Experience Hours
• Review and sign off on Written Oversight Agreement for Supervision when applicable
• Adhere to standards of professional practice and remain in compliance with all applicable laws, including laws and regulations governing licensure, mandated reporting requirements, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and standards of practice for telehealth therapy
• Availability to attend required training and consultation group opportunities for clinical supervisors as offered by the program
• Review of clinical documentation as needed and appropriate to each ASW’s employment setting’s policies
• Ensure completion of ongoing continuing professional development requirements as outlined by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
• Maintain professional liability insurance 

Other Duties as Assigned 5%

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years post-master’s experience preferred
