Overview

This position is open until filled with an initial application review to take place after December 1, 2023.

 

The salary for this position is $5,417.00 per month. 

 

Under supervision of Dr. Miguel Villodas, an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology, this position is intended to provide mentored advanced training to enhance professional skills and research independence in the Postdoctoral Research Scholar’s academic discipline.The Postdoctoral Research Scholar will contribute the research team’s projects and provide support to school staff during the project.

 

 

Responsibilities

Position Specific Responsibilities 95%

 

  • Conducting focus groups
  • Adapting intervention materials and integrating suggestions from focus groups
  • Conducting clinical and diagnostic assessments 
  • Training, coordinating, and supervising graduate and undergraduate students in participant recruitment and data collection procedures, and school staff training and coordination
  • Supervising school staff during the randomized trial, including assessing implementation fidelity 
  • Cross-site project management, coordinating with (Data Manager) on database management
  • Data cleaning and data analyses
  • Assisting the Project Lead and Co-Leads with preparation of reports, presentations and publications of the data. 
  • Presenting research results at scientific conferences and meetings and in peer reviewed publications.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Education and Exeperience

  • A doctoral degree in an appropriate field
  • 0-5 years of relevant experience

 

Preferred Qualifications and Special Skills

  • PhD or equivalent in clinical psychology, special education, public health, social work or related field
  • Strong interest in implementation science and the implementation of evidence-based interventions in children’s mental health service settings
  • Relevant experience with implementation training or facilitation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal and organizational skills
