WHAT OUR DEPARTMENT DOES
The Information Systems team serves the evolving information services and technology needs of SDSURF. We are responsible for the operation, maintenance, security, and ongoing development of SDSURF enterprise systems and providing administrative desktop services for central staff personnel. We collaborate with users and colleagues to develop and implement user-focused technology solutions that contribute to increased productivity, security, and accessibility of information and help further the SDSU research mission and strategic growth plans. YOUR ROLE IN CREATING THE UNIVERSITY’S PRESENT AND FUTURE
As an IS Analyst/Programmer on the IS Development Services team, under the general direction of the IS Development Services Manager, you will support, improve, and modernize administrative systems that support the research and creative endeavors of our staff and faculty.
This position, on occasion, may be required to work hours beyond typical business hours, including after work hours, weekends, and holidays.

THE WORK YOU WILL DO
As an IS Analyst/Programmer you will assist in supporting Ellucian Banner ERP,gathering and analyzing requirements with a myriad of external systems and business applications. Consulting with colleagues across the organization, you will develop custom forms, reports, workflows and support data integrations supporting business processes using a variety of technical skills, namely Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Application Express (APEX).
