Under direction, incumbents must have course work in the discipline requested on the task order Statement of Work.
This Statement of Work covers the requirement for student services to provide technical and/or analytical support in the field of computer science for the Data Transformation Services (DaTS) Data Engineering project. The purpose of this project is to utilize various methods to transform raw data into useful data systems. For example, leverage DON COVID data to create algorithms, statistical analysis, and visualization via a COVID dashboard. The incumbent will work with cloud service providers to build a data engineering system based on cloud service offerings.
Background: The DATS Portfolio has a requirement to automate the ingestions, curation, availability and accessibility of decision-ready data. Data will be developed, managed, and integrated as a holistic entity.
The student shall assist the work sponsor in:
Undergraduate Student 3: Must have course work in the discipline requested on the task order Statement of Work. The student must be at the Senior level and have experience in 100% of the task requirements and be able to accomplish 90% of the work independently.
Required Course Work:
Knowledge of the following program languages is required:
Data mining and modeling
Frameworks such as react or angular
Knowledge of DevSecOps Process to include
Release Management and automated pipelines
Quality Gateways (i.e. Code Analysis, SonarQube, Architecture etc.)
Test cases and execution
Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, git, splunk etc
